Spearmint’s Training Log 2/12/17

Hi everybody! Hope you had a great week and weekend. I had been enjoying tiny little race-week workouts for the past two weeks, but this week was back to regular training for me.

Mon: Easy 4 miles. It was 70 degrees but even that nice weather couldn’t tempt me to run for more thanย 30 mins. I take my easy days VERY seriously ๐Ÿ™‚

Tues: 4 miles in the morning/Outdoor tempo in the evening with 500’s on the track and lifting afterwards

Wed: 4 miles in the morning/10 miles in the evening

Powered by some beef jerky I found in the trunk of my car

Thurs: 4 miles in the morning/3 sets of 1k@3:15ish, 1k@3:05ish, then flail through a 300. Lifting afterwards. Ever had a workout where you are just a grumpy baby the whole time? Yeah, that was me for this one. It went fine otherwise though.

Fri: 4 miles in the morning/10 miles in the evening

Sat: Nice and relaxed long run

Sun: 10 miles

Total: 90
