Salty’s Training Log – 5.20.12

12 weeks pregnant! A birthday. Photos of the bebe. An epic day cheering at a marathon. What a week!

The beginning of the week had me tired. A whirlwind of family activity on Mother’s Day had me worn out. I managed almost 8 miles on Tuesday and 6 on Friday, but every other day was just 4 and I took Saturday off even though I was hoping to run 7 days this week.

As you are well aware by now, Friday was my birthday. My husband and I celebrated by getting an ultrasound of baby #3. All looks good! Then we went to B Spot for burgers and frozen yogurt while we people watched and chatted. We haven’t had a date since I’ve been feeling like crud so it was so nice to spend some fun time together talking and catching up! Love that guy!

Our cute little Boo Boo as my son has so sweetly named his latest sibling.

Despite a busy week and being tired I still met my mileage goal and ran 41 miles this week with my 15 mile adventure today cheering at the CLE Marathon. Wow! What an experience. Sometimes I think it just might be more fun to help others achieve their goals than reaching my own. I need to write a real race report post for this one. Even though I didn’t officially race, it was just THAT good!

I'll tell you a funny story about this sign in the report!

M: 4 around 8:30 on tm during son’s class.

T: 7.75 with .75 easy, 1 @ 7:16 and then 6 with Ginger from the track. It was just too hot for me to do a workout.

W: 4 easy on the Y tm. 8:45ish.

T: 4 easy pushing the stroller

F: 6 beautiful no watch birthday miles all by myself!

Sa: off

Su: 15! at the CLE Marathon, plus another 2.5 walking and then another 1.5 walking in the evening. I’m going to be POOPED tomorrow!

Total: 41 miles
