Happy Monday! Still getting back into the swing of things with training- it’s a huge shift to go from running whenever I want, which is usually 4 days a week, back up to 6 days! My week started off with an unplanned day off due to postponed flights and fatigue from my impromptu half marathon, but I made up the easy miles on Tuesday and did my first double run day ever! This coming week may have some rearranging as well due to more travel, but I’ll figure that out as the week continues!
Anyway, here’s last week!
Monday 1/23: Supposed to be 4 easy, but ended up not running.
Tuesday 1/24: 4 easy with Kate in the morning (10:37 pace), and my first speed work in AGES after the kids went to bed. 12×400 @ 8:33, 2 min recovery. 1 warm up, 1.2 cool down for a total of 7 miles.
Wednesday 1/25: Rest day
Thursday 1/26: Supposed to be a tempo, but decided to swap my run with Friday’s run. 4 miles easy @ 11:24 on the treadmill.
Friday 1/27: 3 miles tempo @ 9:41, 1.5 warm up, .5 cool down. 5 total miles.
Saturday 1/28: 4 easy outside @ 11:19
Sunday 1/29: Had a busy day and knew I would regret not getting up to do my run right away in the morning, so my miles had to happen after going to dinner at Bdubs with the family. Not recommended, but the run felt surprisingly good. 🙂 6 miles easy @ 10:53
