I did not do much running this week and that was by design. Husband-coach gave me active downtime this week (following complete rest and light activity the week before). I enjoyed having another low week for a bit of a break. Did quite a bit of swimming with the kiddos and work in the garden. It was pretty humid for most of this week and that served as a reminder of what’s to come the next 2-3 months.
Monday: 7 mile family run (I pushed the double for only two miles).
Tuesday: 6 mile family run. Like yesterday I pushed the double for the last two miles.
Wednesday: 4 miles in the morning w/ the kids in the double, 4 solo in the afternoon.
Thursday: 6 miles w/ the kids in the double.
Friday: 4 miles w/ the kids in the morning, 4 solo in the afternoon.
Saturday: 12 solo miles.
Sunday: 6 miles w/ the kids in the double, joining the hubs for the first two miles of his long run. The kids and I made a quick stop to pick up Father’s Day donuts on the way home.
