Another lackluster running week, but at least this week I did get in some form of exercise most days, though my mission to wake up early every morning was only successful half the week.
Monday- AM swim, 2000 meters. Pretty good workout actually. I got to the pool as the ladies were already into their set and I just hopped in and held onto Janet’s bubbles. 3*100, 2*250, ladder 25, 50, 75, 100, 100, 75, 50, 25, 5*100. I’d say all of these were on around 1:00 per 50 send off with the 100s on 1:50 send offs.
Tuesday- Slacked off when my planned morning running date cancelled, intentions or riding in the evening were thwarted by plumbing issues.
Wednesday- Biked to work and back! About 22 miles.
Thursday- Bike commute to work and back ~ 25 miles
Friday- Slacked off AKA house work and yard work while dealing with plumbing, waiting for the cable guy.
Saturday- About 8.5 trail miles with Salty and Nicole. I felt worlds better than last Saturday but sadly my heel still hurts. I think after the GLR in two weeks I may be looking at a lengthy break and trying to really stay off the foot, but we will see.
Sunday- Best of intentions, but we just didn’t get in a workout after being up late at the Cleveland Art Museum’s summer music festival for the Solstice
