After the disaster that just was trying to make vegan peeps I have an unexpected few minutes on my hands here this Easter Sunday to actually do my training log on time! Not a big week. A few too many days recovering from the race and whatever viruses and bacteria were holding my body hostage. Took through Thursday before I started to feel like a real human being again!

Monday-Rest

Wednesday-Rest

Thursday-12.5 mile commute on my newly decked out old road bike. Saddle bags, commuter tires, a rack and everything! That means, my bike is HEAVY! But a good workout that saves money and the environment.

Friday-30 minute lunch run

Saturday-66 mile road ride on my shiny new Infinito. I’m in love, but the new pedals were not ready for action and I spent way too much of the ride trying to get clipped in. My shins are killing me today from all the failed attempts. Ouch! Followed up the ride with a boyfriend led speed play tutorial and after about 25 laps around the block I think I have them figured out.

Sunday-10ish mile run with the local club, maybe closer to 11. Other than my upper body being ANGRY from the long ride yesterday it was a nice run.

Here’s hoping next week will have some more consistent, riding, running, and swimming!

A gal on a mission to save Cuyahoga County streams one storm water facility at a time. An ex runner of many facets including marathons, pacing, ultras and more. Chronic left side issues have me cycling more than running these days but I'm attempting to get back to my running roots.
