Oregano’s Training Log – 3.7.2015

An absolutely beautiful beautiful week in Portland. The weather has been beyond  amazing. Mid-60’s and sunny and beautiful and blossomy and fantastic and all of the positive adjectives. Also, my mileage this week is probably the highest it has ever been in my entire life, due to two longs runs and I feel pretty okay! Next week I’m headed to Maui for work (rough, I know), so  it will probably be a bit more of a rest week. . .and hopefully I will end up with more interesting pictures than the no interesting pictures I have this week.

Sunday (3/1):  Another productive Sunday starting at 5am and ending with Indian food with friends! Run: 12 miles (trail)

Monday (3/2): Bike: 16 miles, Run: 5.5 miles

Tuesday (3/3): Book club at my new house for the first time! Run: 5.5 miles

Wednesday (3/4): Tempo run day. One of my goals for the year is a sub-19:00 5K. This tempo felt pretty comfortable so hopefully I can hit that goal in the next couple of months. . .we shall see. . .Run: 5.5 miles (19:32 5K Tempo)

Thursday (3/5): Bike: 16, Run: 5.5 miles

Friday (3/6): Run 6.5 miles

Saturday (3/7): Met Basil, who is visiting Portland with her family, and got to take her on my favorite trail in Portland! I love sharing my city with great people! Run 13 miles (trail)

Total Mileage:

     Bike:  32 miles

     Run:  53.5 miles
