Sadly, this week was taken over by big assignments from school. I had major projects due on Monday and Wednesday, and on Friday was our annual auction to raise money to send students out to present their research. Which I was in charge of organizing this year.
What I’m saying is, there wasn’t a whole lot of running this week. Getting everything done for school and something that vaguely resembles enough sleep to leave me functional (which is more than you think it would be when you have to drive for 2-3 hours a day) just didn’t leave much time for running. There’s always next week, right?
(The good news is that I think Crunch Time might finally be over, after going on non-stop for the past six weeks. Which gives next week a better than average chance of actually being better.)
Monday: 2.4 miles. Got the week off to a great start and was super-pumped about keeping that up. Which lasted for about 48 hours.
Saturday: 0. Blame the fact that I stayed up a wee bit too late celebrating the fact that the auction was DONE on Friday night.
Sunday: 0. Woke up this morning feeling like I’d been hit by a truck. I’m blaming the flu shot I got on Thursday, because I really have no idea what else it would be.
Total for the week: 2.4 miles.
