Cheers! At some dive bar after a club run

This week I’m working up to the NYC Half, so I took it pretty easy, wanting to rest up.ย  Hey, I guess that means sometime this week I’ll be writing‘s first race report? Neat!

I felt a little slow and heavy this week…my meniscus feels better, but my leg muscles in general and especially my hamstrings are still stiff and sore. I’m trying to stretch a lot, but it’s an uphill battle when you’re on your feet as much as I am. In other news, I’m going back to work full time starting Monday, so training is about to get much more difficult for me.ย  Good thing the Half is tomorrow!

Sunday: 8 miles (ran 3 to a 5 mile club run)

Monday: 4 miles (club run)

Tuesday: No running. Worked on a snazzy pilot called 666 Park Avenue!

Wednesday: Worked again

Thursday: 4 miles

Friday: 4.5 miles – WOW did my calves feel heavy!

Saturday: Resting up for tomorrow!

Cinnamon made Salty Running, takes lots of pictures and drinks lots of coffee. By day she's a camera assistant for films and tv in New York, and by night she's on a quest for zen in the 10k.
