Happy Monday everybody! That weekend flew by. Sad!
I’ve been slowly edging the mileage down as my season is finally starting to come to a close. While I’ve been having so much fun racing, it has been 6 months of consistent training and I’m ready to chill out and forget about running for a couple weeks. However, before I can do that I have one more little race coming up this Thursday…a 10k…in Sacramento…at USA’s! I’m pretty excited about it.
So here’s what I did last week:
Monday: 20 min shakeout after an overnight flight and a full day at work. Didn’t have much fun on this run haha
Tuesday: 4 miles in the morning/12 miles in the evening
Wednesday: 5 miles in the morning/10 miles in the evening followed by core and abs
Thursday: Workout in the morning. 8xk at 10k-ish pace. Nice and chill. Enjoyed this one!/5 miles in the evening followed by core and abs
Friday: 11 miles in the morning
Saturday: Long run
Sunday: 6 miles
