Marathon Training Week 6
5 miles (8:12)
Tuesday: Quicker run
6 miles (2 warm up, 2 tempo, 2 cool down)
I ran with the bf on a paved path through the woods. Our Garmins did not work in the slightest but the 2 tempo miles might have been around a 6:20 pace.
4 miles (8:11)
Very nice run out to a lighthouse on a boardwalk.

Friday: Long Run
19 miles (8:12)
This was a very humid run with a friend. It was my longest run so far in the cycle. Again, it was not pretty but I got it done!
6 miles (7:23)
I wore my slow shoes to run easy but my random, unpredictable body felt like going quicker.
This was a boring solo run to get some miles.
Total Miles: 48.5
I went on vacation so I did not run enough miles for serious marathon training and I slacked on strength work. I decided to call drop back week and take my training more seriously next week.
