What? A training log? Yeah I know it’s been about a year since any real training went on over here. Don’t get too excited because most of it is going to be cycling these days, but FWIW I do have a few ideas on the back burner about how to up my run fitness on minimal run training while focusing on the bike and getting preggo this year that I may get excited to blog about (or not, no promises!). In the meantime goal is 30-60 minutes of exercise most days of the week. Gotta shed some of my less than fit habits I have been accumulating!
Without further adieu:
March 17th- A few hours of skills, cross country, andtrack riding at Ray’s indoor mountain bike park
March 18th- 42 mile ride with my hubby, outside! Slow and steady.
March 19th- A few more hours of skills, cross country, and pump track riding at Ray’s indoor mountain bike park
March 20th- Rest!
March 21st- 29 miles of commuting on the old Giant OCR back and forth from work
March 22nd- Super duper easy run (~3.5 miles) at the local watershed conservancy center for World Water Day with the hubby
March 23rd- A few more hours at Ray’s indoor mountain bike park trying out a 650b hardtail , resulting in some really fancy shiners up and down my legs. Got a little braver than I should have for my skill level! Other than the bruises I’d say the cycling is taking a bit of a toll on my grip, it’s like I develop arthritis after every Ray’s session. Mission get better gloves and loosen the heck up begins this week!
