Vanilla’s Training Log 1-25-15 to 1-31-15

I had high hopes for training this week, but my immune system had different plans.  I caught some of the nasty stuff going around.  Ugh!

1/25: 7 miles in 55 minutes.  It was nice enough to ride outside, so I headed out, but I underestimated the wind.  There were times I felt like I was riding right into a wall.  I barely managed 15 mph.  I felt tired, and I’m sure it was foreshadowing getting sick later in the week.

1/26:  4 miles @ 7:50 pace.  Weights in the evening.

1/27:  Off, sick.

1/28:  Off, sick.

1/29:  Decided to try a short run of 25 minutes.  Felt like I had never run in my life!  Made it to the pool later in the evening.

1/30:  3 miles in 23 minutes.  1 hour spin at lunch.

1/31:  Weights, followed by 5.25 miles.  2,000m swim in the afternoon.

Weekly Totals:

Running:  22.45 miles

Biking:  24 miles + 1 hour

Swimming: 2.3 miles

Weights:  1:40
