Getting into a groove with training!
1/18: Prairie Dog Half Marathon: 1:35:25, 4th overall and 1st master. This was my attempt to jump start back into long runs. 2 mile cooldown after made for 15 total for the day, my longest run in months. I was pretty tired throughout the day, but I managed a core workout later.
1/19: Easy 3 miles at lunch. 1,250m swim in the evening.
1/20: Thought I was ready for a workout, but my legs felt heavy. 5.35 miles in 40 minutes. Biked an hour in the evening.
1/21: Super easy on the trainer. Weights in the evening.
1/22: 7.25 miles in 50:40 with 10 quarters. Felt controlled and smooth. Starting to get these down to 6:00 pace again!
1/23: Weights, then 2,400m swim before work. An hour spin at lunch with some co-workers. Tough ladder workout!
1/24: 6.25 miles in 51 minutes. 1,650m swim in the evening with wind gusts of 30-40 mph. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but so many things kept blowing into the pool, it was definitely hazardous!
Running: 36.95 miles
Biking: 40.35 + 1 hour spin workout
Swimming: 3.29 miles
Weights: > 2 hours
