Salty’s Training Log – 10.14.12

33 weeks! This could have been a decent running week, but my household was socked with some sort of plague this week. On Wednesday I had a little scratchy throat, but by Thursday I was knocked on my ass with a wicked head cold that lovingly migrated to my lungs by Saturday. Yeah! Normally, I’ll still run if I have a head cold, but being gigantically pregnant with a head cold is just too much. Plus, add in the heart thing and I’m not pushing it these days. So, I only ran 3 days this week. But I did tons of crossword puzzles!

I made it out this morning. I almost canceled my 7:00 a.m. date, but decided to give it a shot. I knew my friend Jen would understand if I had to bag it early or needed to go extra slow. Plus, I started feeling a wee bit better last night. I went to bed early and actually woke up feeling pretty good and headed out in the balmy air and had a nice run. I felt pretty decent most of the day, but by this evening I am WIPED out! But I did manage to finally take a photo. It was a rather calamitous photo shoot. Husband was busy. Couldn’t find the camera. Had to use my phone that wouldn’t stay propped up on anything and the finally when I figured our the propping thing I took a bunch of photos and realized my belly was hanging out of my shirt! So then I had to start over and this is the best I could do. What I do to keep my promises around here ๐Ÿ™‚

The best I could do. I found the camera so next week we’ll get a better shot, promise!
