I’m late, I’m late, for my training log entry date.Not much to say about last weeks “training.” I only got in one workout and the race. Pretty sure I was fighting off a stomach bug and a virus of some sort. Monday and Tuesday I had absolutely no energy. The rest of the week my stomach was not playing nice at all. And to top it off aunt flow arrived Thursday. Which we all know means metabolically I was set for a great race, but let’s be honest, no one like racing on the rag, even if it does make you faster ;) I chugged way too much Imodium and pepto for my own good, and a bunch of ginger ale, and thankfully survived the race. But the workouts were admittedly light. Oh well, that’s what tapers are for!
Wednesday- about 60 minutes on the rollers (not for those of weak balancing skills, but I figured them out!)
Saturday-Barry Roubaix 62 mile gravel race plus warm up and cool down
