Sunday: 4 miles solo
Monday: 3 miles w/ double stroller (broken up w/ stop at playground in middle)
Tuesday: 4 miles w/ double stroller
***Taper time! Seems like my body was trying to tell me something, b/c for the next few days I only felt like doing my 2 mile loop, and just taking it really easy
Wednesday: 2 mile loop w/ double stroller
Thursday: 2 miles w/ double stroller
Friday: 2 mile loop w/ double stroller
Friday night/early Saturday: Extreme intensity endurance sprint. Involved a high speed chase, police escort, intervals without recovery, a rush to the finish line, and unfortunately no option for performance enhancing drugs. Thankfully the finisher’s trophy is pretty darn cute.
***Compared to my previous labors of 20 and 15 hours, you would think a quick labor would be a welcome change. But no, now being in the 2% to experience precipitous labor, I know I am truly a long distance athlete!
