Oregano’s Training Log – 2.21.2015

Do you know what I mean when I say that life has been too busy to be interesting? I would assume that you do, and therefore will not begrudge me another uninteresting training log. The one thing I will say is that while my mileage is unimpressive compared to other Salty bloggers, for me it is the highest my mileage has been without getting injured maybe ever. Additionally, this realization is a call to action, as I got out of the rhythm of doing PT exercises because of the move and being busy, and I NEED to be more conscious of staying on top of it. I am very fortunate there have not yet been any negative consequences, but I shouldn’t count on that.

Sunday (2/15): Ran to my old house to pick up my bike and then biked home to my new house! Bike: 4.5 miles, Run: 4.5 miles

Monday (2/16): Spent an unexpected 2 hours waiting for the Comcast guy and then an additional 3 hours with him trying to figure out the internet in my new place. Not in the top 10 reasons to take a day off of work, but at least the weather was fantastic. Bike: 7 miles, Run: 8.75 miles

Tuesday (2/17): Bike: 16 miles, Run: 8.25 miles

Wednesday (2/18): Mini-Workout. Started feeling tired and blah and ended feeling great. I wish this happened more often. . .though admittedly I probably should have run faster. . . Bike: 16 miles, Run: 6.5 miles (1600 – 6:08, 1200 – 4:35, 800 – 3:00, 400 – 1:24)

Thursday (2/19): Bike: 4.5 miles, Run: 5.75 miles

Friday (2/20): Bike: 16 miles, Run 7.75 miles

Saturday (2/21): Continued with the moving. . .

Total Mileage:

     Swim: 0 miles

     Bike: 64 miles

     Run: 41.5 miles
