Whew! I’m glad that week is over. I subbed some extra classes and ran my highest mileage of the cycle, so I’m ready for this upcoming cutback week.
Monday-7 foggy easy miles, 7:47 pace. Later I taught 3 classes and then ate my whole kitchen.
Tuesday- Treadmill speed day. 2 mile warmup, 6 x .5 mile at 6:30 with .25 at 8:30 recovery, 1 cooldown (7 total). Later I taught 1 strength class.
Wednesday- I’ve been fortunate enough to have Wednesdays mornings free lately, so I’ve tried to get long runs in immediately after dropping off the kids instead of waking up at 4:30 Saturdays to squeeze them in before I teach. Today I did 15 miles at 7:58 pace. I was dying of thirst. I was dumb not to carry water-won’t make that mistake again! Later I taught a spin class.
Thursday-1 mile warmup, 8 miles at goal marathon pace (7:35 ish), 2 cooldown. Later I taught core and a strength class.
Friday-1 strength class, then 8 easy treadmill miles, 8:20 pace.
Saturday-Husband’s travel plans changed and he couldn’t get home Friday as planned, so I did my 8 miles on the treadmill (again). 8:30 pace. Later I taught a spin class.
Looking forward to a few less miles and much less classes this week!
