This week it was all about doing. We’ve got a road trip/vacation coming up, and I know I wont be able to train as hard or run as long. No, I’m not soliciting advice about how to fit in runs on vacation. Trust me. We’re going to see my mom, and I have to keep all of my runs to less than an hour (preferably less than 40 minutes) while I’m there, or she’ll start worrying. That being said, I need to keep training hard between now and then.
Monday: 3 one mile repeats (3:00 RI between each). Hit the repeats at 8:00, 8:02, and 7:42 – much better than I had anticipated after Sunday’s long run!
Tuesday: Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Wednesday: Tempo Run: 2 mile warm up, 3 miles tempo (slower than planned – averaged 9:05 but I blame it on having to stop during the first mile to take a phone call), 2 mile cool down. Average pace over all 7 miles was 9:33.
Thursday: Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance
Friday: Insanity Cardio Recovery
Saturday: Insanity Pure Cardio
