Cinnamon’s Training Log 7.29.12

Waiting at one of the checks on Sunday – and showing off my tattoo for Clove’s Salty Running Challenge!

Sorry this is late!ย  I had a busy weekend because…
I STARTED RUNNING AGAIN! WOOHOO!!

Since I got the go-ahead I’ve logged 2 runs:

Saturday 7/28 – 3.7 miles of walk/running. I felt good, but was nervous to just launch right in, since I don’t want to overdo it and hurt myself again.

Sunday 7/29 – I ran 5.5 miles (approximately)!ย  It wasn’t all in a row, since it was with my running club and we frequently have stops, but I did it!

 

I feel pretty sore today but the foam roller is really helping, and hopefully my PT exercises will help to correct my imbalances so running will get a lot easier!

Cinnamon made Salty Running, takes lots of pictures and drinks lots of coffee. By day she's a camera assistant for films and tv in New York, and by night she's on a quest for zen in the 10k. Her writing is a mix of satirical humor, finding wholeness as an average runner, cheering for runners at all paces and more.
