I completed my last long run before my mid-cycle rest week, and while my runs have been pretty great, I am ready for an easier week.
This week’s runs:
Sunday: 9 miles, recovery. After my supa-fast 20 miles on Saturday, I was beat up. These miles were painful.
Monday: 10 miles, 6 miles hills. Love. These. Runs.
Tuesday: 4 miles, easy.
Wednesday: 9 miles, 7 miles speed intervals. I feel like I’m getting fast, y’all (at least fast for me)!
Thursday: 11 miles, 8 mile temp run (in an hour)!
Friday: 6 miles, easy
Saturday: 13 miles, long run
Total: 62 miles

This last week was planned to be my mid-cycle rest week, but since I’ll be traveling next week, I decided it would be better to take the rest when I was already in that mode.
