I left you with a boring training log a couple weeks ago — two weeks of zero mileage. This week’s is not much more interesting to read, but I really enjoyed getting my legs moving again! And of course, I’m setting a good foundation for some (hopefully) exciting race results this spring.
Monday: 4 miles @ 8:07 pace. Fresh legs mean a quicker pace than normal, even with two weeks of detraining. However, my legs were extremely itchy! Weird!
Tuesday: 3.7 @ 8:36 and an hour of hot yoga.
Wednesday: 4.5 @ 8:57 on the treadmill. Threw in a few surges at 7:30 pace because I was bored.
Thursday: Nothing, went to bed early.
Friday: 7.1 @ 8:35 pace on the treadmill.
Saturday: 6 miles @ 8:23 with friends. Saw two miniature horses in someone’s yard!
Sunday: 5.2 miles @ 8:27 with the MRTT group. Yoga in the evening.
total = 30.5 miles.
