Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone! I started the week by running a BQ at Eugene–yes, a BQ!
Sunday: Eugene Marathon. 3:37:50. I met my goal of a BQ, but a nasty fall halfway through the race cost me some precious time and nearly forced me to DNF. I made it, though, and I am still ecstatic that I ran a BQ! (A race report is pending)!
Monday: Rest! Enjoyed the Oregon Coast. It was absolutely breathtaking.
Tuesday: Easy run on Pre’s Trail with hubby before leaving Eugene. Ouch!!
Wednesday: Rest and back to work.
Thursday: A very slow, sore and labored 3.25 miles at lunch.
Friday: 35 minutes on the trainer.
Saturday: Bike to the gym; 2,000 yards in the pool; 2 miles on the treadmill, which went much better than expected!
Running: 34.9 miles
Biking: 35 minutes
Swimming: 2,000 yards
