Whoa…that felt weird typing “2013″! This is the year in which I am getting MARRIED! In the running world, I was stuck mostly to the “dreadmill,” due to icy, snowy and not-so-nice running trails in and around New Albany. I’m sure I could have found some clearer running paths if I ventured out a bit, but I stuck to my townhouse’s exercise room most mornings this week. The highlight of my week was Saturday’s run with the “Marathoner In Training” (MIT) group. As the staff member of the ACS Endurance team, I work with these individuals to make sure they are hooked up with wonderful support in their training, hence we have a great partnership with MIT and they are able to join them on weekly group runs, if their heart desires. I was able to meet and mingle with four of the athletes and am once again honored to have them be a part of this wonderful team, all raising money to fight that dreaded thing we call cancer.
Monday: 4 miles on the treadmill
Tuesday: Happy New Year! 3 mile loop around town (with numb feet at the end) before a relaxing afternoon with our traditional “good luck” saurkraut meal.
Wednesday: 3 miles on the treadmill and some ab work
Thursday: 4 miles on the treadmill and some ab work
Friday: 3 miles on the treadmill
Saturday: 7 miles with the MIT group on the Olentangy trail
Sunday: 4 miles around town- finally, the ice is beginning to melt!!!!

Big year for you! Happy 2013!
