Kyle has written 168 posts on Salty Running.

I'm a camera assistant in New York's film and TV industry, underboss at Salty Running, working toward a 22:00 5k and a 3:40:00 marathon and trying to find time for everything else too!

Yeehaw, gals, we had a fantastic week!

This week’s cowgirl wisdom: “Don’t let so much reality into your life that there’s no room left for dreamin’.”

The October excitement continued this week as we introduced the second half of our new class of bloggers.  Welcome Cilantro, Licorice and Coriander!

Rosemary is her own biggest critic, but she managed to impress even herself in Lessons From My Surprise 10k PR

Get to know Cilantro in her introductory post! She’s a gluten-free runner who’s achieved amazing weight loss.

It’s not just a bandwagon thing. Read about how Thyme transitioned to minimalist running in Five-Finger Fling: My Conversion to Running in Vibrams.

When was the last time you had a fan club at your race? Oh, like, never? Mace is in the same boat: The Lone Racer: Tips for Racing Alone.

Check out Licorice in her introductory post! She’s a certified Triathlon coach, Physical Therapy student and back-of-the-pack runner trying to recover fitness after knee surgery.

Nutmeg ran her first 5k yesterday (WAY TO GO MEG!)…in a gorilla suit.  Before the race, she had a few misgivings, the primary being that she had agreed to race in a gorilla suit. On Your Mark. Get Set. GO-Rilla

Now that her hectic role helping coordinate the Columbus Marathon is over, Clove is back to us, and she has BIG NEWS! Welcome Back, Clove!

Meet Coriander in her introductory post! Another big weight loss achiever, she’s now a marathoner-turned-ultrarunner.

Ask-A-Salty is back this week, with a great question from reader Jackie. Jackie just completed a fall marathon and is planning another marathon relatively soon. She wants to know how to jump right into the next training cycle. Ask-a-Salty – Training From One Marathon to the Next

Hey cool! Check out Women’s Running Magazine this month and you’ll see a little Salty sprinkled on Page 51: Salty in Women’s Running Magazine!

Ginger had some great race success at Columbus, and is embarking on a new phase of her running life: Welcome to the Next Level: The Columbus Half-Marathon. Looks like those big dreams are paying off!

It’s good to give back, and Sassafras tells us how to do just that with her race cheering tips: On the Sidelines: How to be a Rockin’ Race Spectator.

And Vanilla had a great race at Columbus last weekend, too! After moving away, it felt so good to come home: My Homecoming Dress is a Racing Singlet: The Columbus Half Marathon!

Friends, fall is not just the season for racing, it’s also the season for dress-up. And goodness knows I, Cinnamon love playing dress-up, so for this week’s Friday 5 I give you: 5 Tips to Make Your Halloween Costume Runnable!

Salty graced us with the second installment of her series, What to Expect from Running When You’re Expecting, a week-by-week runner’s guide to pregnancy.

And Salty Reader Kathy won Comment of the Week! Way to go, Kathy!

On-on to the next week of Amazingness here at Salty Running….and as always, thank you for reading! We are your biggest fans!

I just want to say – thanks! I found this site last night, and ran my first marathon this morning. I spent some time last night reading through old posts, and I got some great last-minute advice. I’m so glad to have found you – a great site for normal female runners (not ones who run 80 miles a week and then eat salad for every meal). Thanks guys!
