I had one or two days this week where I thought my foot might be feeling an ounce better. Then I forgot to wear my boot one night and made the mistake of walking without shoes around the house for 30 minutes and got the rude wake up call that no, my foot is indeed not any better, it just doesn’t hurt 24/7 because I am not running.
This not running stuff is for the birds! As we are wrapping up the house project and I will actually have time for running this is not a fun reality for me. It is looking like I will have to get serious about some other modes of cross training besides cycling because otherwise I am going to start missing my run fitness majorly whenever I do get back to running.
This week I managed to actually get on the bike more days, but less mileage as I was dodging rain storms.
Monday-22 miles commuting to and from work
Tuesday-11 miles commuting to work
Wednesday-23 miles commuting to and from work
Friday-12.5 miles commuting home
Saturday- Rest (Driving and family reunion in Michigan)
Sunday-32 mile ride with the BF, practicing drafting skills, I majorly dislike being that close to someone’s wheel.
The good news is I can sleep and shower in my house again! So I am hoping this feeling of limbo will subside and I can make time to get in and look at some alternative PF treatments.
