I'm currently a graduate student in Clinical Psychology (trying to earn that Ph.D!), freelance creative writer, aspiring ultrarunner, part-time Vegan (and part-time In & Out and Sushi lover), acoustic guitar player and crafter of cute things (like crocheted owls). I like to tackle life head on. I like to learn. And I'm not afraid to make mistakes.

Granny Squares! My new addiction.

So let me just start with admitting this has been an overall “off” week for me. My shins were hurting so bad that I wanted to take some time resting. I started a new job waitressing this week (California Pizza Kitchen..woohoo!) so I knew I was at least running around for a few hours a day. Moral of the story: I hardly ran this week. But I hustled around a restaurant lifting plates n’ stuff! :)

Monday- Off

Tuesday- Ran six miles. Shins were killing me. As usual.

Wednesday- Walked/jogged a few miles. Wasn’t feeling it.

Thursday- Waitressed four hours.

Friday- Crocheted ALL DAY LONG. Wow, I felt so lazy that day! But hey…sometimes your body just needs a break!

Saturday- Waitressed two hours. Then crocheted the rest of the day.

Sunday- Worked almost six hours. I was actually pretty exhausted this time!

By the end of the week, I almost had a full blanket!

So…next week. I’m going to slowly transition to getting back into an everyday routine, and then starting my training program from the beginning. Again >.< Crossing my fingers this time!
