As mentioned in today’s post, I took it very easy this week due to shingles. By Friday, I had completed the medication and was feeling pretty normal again. My runs were slow and secluded to avoid spreading anything. This upcoming week, I’ll continue to focus on building up more miles and strength.
Sunday: 5 miles easy. Felt fine but that was about to change later in the day.
Monday: Rest. This was the worst day with the virus.
Tuesday: 5 miles very easy, felt a little out of it.
Wednesday: Rest. Dizzy!
Thursday: 5 miles easy that felt pretty good.
Friday: Rest for precautionary reasons.
Saturday: 5 miles easy on trails. Nearly 100%.
Total: 20 miles running.
